Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of KeepShare (the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
KeepShare is operated by Lusitano Platform Estates Lda ("we", "us", "our").
2. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal minimum in your country). You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
3. The Service
KeepShare lets you save content, create boards, post and discuss, upload media and documents, and share content publicly, privately, or with friends.
We may update or change features at any time, and may suspend the Service for maintenance or security.
4. Your content and permissions
A. You own your content
You retain ownership of content you upload or create.
B. License to operate the Service
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical formatting), display, and distribute your content only as needed to operate and improve KeepShare, consistent with your visibility settings.
C. Sharing settings
If you set content to public, you acknowledge that others may view, share, or copy it outside KeepShare.
5. Pro features and subscriptions (if applicable)
If you purchase Pro, billing is handled through the relevant app store or payment processor.
Trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds follow the rules shown at purchase time and, where applicable, the platform's policies.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, harassing, hateful, or exploitative
- Infringe intellectual property rights (including uploading copyrighted PDFs you do not have rights to share)
- Share private or confidential information of others without permission
- Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours
- Disrupt or abuse the Service (spam, scraping, reverse engineering where prohibited by law)
- Use KeepShare to distribute malware or harmful code
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
7. Copyright and takedowns
If you believe content on KeepShare infringes your copyright, contact us at support@keepshare.app with:
- A description of the copyrighted work
- The location of the allegedly infringing content
- Your contact information
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury (where applicable), that your notice is accurate
We may remove content and may terminate repeat infringers.
8. Safety, moderation, and enforcement
We may monitor and review content and activity to enforce these Terms and to maintain safety. We are not obligated to pre-screen everything, but we can remove content or restrict access at our discretion.
9. Third-party links and content
KeepShare may display content from third-party websites (links, previews, thumbnails). We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that KeepShare will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be preserved.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lusitano Platform Estates Lda will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
12. Termination
You may stop using KeepShare at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal excluding conflict of law rules, unless your local consumer laws require otherwise.
